The 2025 Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) for the R/V Healy EM122 multibeam system focused on evaluating system geometry, hardware health, swath coverage, and receiver noise following installation of the new Seapath 385-R3 navigation system during the 2024–25 maintenance period. Due to scheduling constraints, testing was limited primarily to RX noise and swath coverage assessments, which showed performance consistent with recent years despite slightly elevated noise levels at higher speeds and no significant degradation in coverage or receiver health since the 2023 RX array replacement. The Multibeam Advisory Committee provided remote support for configuration review, test planning, and analysis, and remains available to assist with future calibration and integration of the Seapath 385-R3 navigation system.
