- The R/V Thomas G. Thompson (TGT) underwent a maintenance period during winter 2022-23, receiving a new Seapath 380 navigation system intended to serve as the primary navigation source for the EM302
- The Seapath MRU and antennas were surveyed by Westlake Consultants and reported as an update to the existing Westlake survey report; this improved efficiency of the survey process and consistency of the results
- The Multibeam Advisory Committee (MAC) was asked to assist with quality assurance testing (QAT), with the primary aim of calibrating (‘patch testing’) the vessel’s EM302 with the new Seapath as primary and existing POS MV as secondary navigation sources
