Vessel: Thomas JeffersonMultibeam System: EM2040/EM710Dates: October 14-20, 2016 A Kongsberg EM2040 multibeam and an EM710 MKII multibeam were installed aboard NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson during an extended shipyard period at the Coast Guard yard in Curtis Bay in Baltimore, MD during the spring and summer of 2016.
Vessel: R/V Fairweather Multibeam System: EM2040 Dates: May 22- May 26, 2017 We installed four Kongsberg EM2040 multibeam echo sounders, one on each of Fairweather’s hydrographic survey launches during the spring of 2017 in Newport, OR.
Vessel: R/V Bat Galim Multibeam System: EM302/EM2040 Dates: January 31 – February 4, 2016 From January 31st to February 4th, 2016 a Shipboard Acceptance Testing (SAT) was conducted on the R/V Bat Galim, owned by the Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resource of Israel and operated by Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research, on the newly installed Kongsberg Maritime (KM) EM302 (30 kHz) and EM2040 (200 kHz, 300 kHz, and 400 kHz) multibeam echosounders.
Cruise ID: AT43-02 Multibeam System: EM124/Seapath 380 Dates: January 01, 2022 The R/V Atlantis replaced its EM122 multibeam echosounder with an EM124 upgrade during the 2020-21 midlife refit period; a Seapath 380 position/attitude system was installed to replace the PHINS as the primary feed to the multibeam mapping system.
